Hello, Hello and HELLO!

Apologies for the lack of posts lately. It's been dreary, wet and windy in the 'Deen and inevitably, the 'Donians cannot be bothered to show up in style. I mean, it rained so bad the last few days, rumor has it even the ducks were complaining.

Which is why I yelped for joy when I spotted cute quirky Jenny in her modernized 80's inspired cool ensemble.

She kind of reminds me of Sarah's post HERE, no?

So I asked about the bag...seeing as it's a hybrid between my regular satchel and a sort of funky owl and of course might be nice to have. BUT, she got it off ebay...sigh... 

 

Style Find - DUNE... Match-making

Hey everyone  :)

Wanted to share with you my style find from DUNE at Union Square (bag can be found online here and the shoes here). I didn't actually get these for myself but for a very dear friend whose birthday it was.

HOWEVER, I can sense a return journey to DUNE is imminent...You must understand. It. Cannot. Be. Helped.

They're not in the sale, which is probably why I didn't immediately buy mine, but they're so good to look at, my impulse control center is failing miserably as stopping me from waiting till the sale.

Street Style - Sophie

Sophie is very on trend with her tartan skirt.

 

The combined patterns and textures in her outfit are cool enough to make me smile at the thought of dressing up for fall weather.

I was in gifts and craft heaven when I saw the display on the window of the CLOUDY BLUE store. Unfortunately they were closed for the day but I managed to get this photo to share with you all.

Street Style - Jocelyn...of CuriouScope

Jocelyn was at the Apple Store in Union Square when I spotted her. The girly but bold outfit made her stand out from the crowd; and y'all know there's ALWAYS a crowd at the Apple store!

Anyway we got talking and she actually designed the skirt herself. She's got an online boutique called CuriouScope (now how come I never come up with cool names like that?).

CuriouScope is based in Glasgow but you can check out and buy her designs from ASOS here.

Her designs are really funky.
